Dr. Amira del Pino-Jones is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine, at the University of Colorado. She is the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Division of Hospital Medicine, the Assistant Program Director for Diversity and Inclusion for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, and Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for the School of Medicine. As the director of several pipeline programs geared towards underrepresented undergraduate students interested in careers in the healthcare field, she is dedicated to diversifying the healthcare workforce in an effort to improve the quality of care for all patient populations.
